There are three
types of installation scenarios for Office
XP:

Scenario
Make sure you read first the
requirements
for installing Arabic Office XP.
1- When
installing Arabic Office XP, you first get the
dialog for name, initial and company name, which
all support Arabic entry (Figure 1), plus you
should enter the Product Key number which is
provided with your office XP package.

2- Make sure to read the EULA (End User
License Agreement) which is fully in Arabic
(Figure 2) before you proceed with the
installation.

3- Also you can set the location for the
installation in Arabic folder or bath as it's
fully supported from Office XP as well as from
the Operating System (Figure 3).

4- Choose which products or type of
installation do you need when the choices dialog
(Figure 4) appears.

5- After selecting, you will see the
installation status dialog (Figure 5) which
shows the installation process status.

6- You will know when installation is
finished properly when prompt with the
successful installation (Figure 6).

Upgrading
Scenario
Upgrading scenario is the same
as
clean
scenario, except for few steps as
follows:
3- You will be prompt for choosing
whether to upgrade the existing office or to
leave it and install office XP along with the
previous one (Figure 7), you should choose
(Upgrade now).

4- You will be prompt to choose if
you need to remove all previous office products
or keep certain ones (Figure 8), for upgrading
you should choose (Remove all previous office
products). NOTE: You can keep all
previous office products except for Outlook
which it will be forced to be upgraded.

Keep
Previous Office Scenario
Keep previous office scenario is
the same as
clean
scenario, except for few steps as
follows:
3- You will be prompt for choosing
whether to upgrade the existing office or to
leave it and install office XP along with the
previous one (Figure 9), you should choose
(Complete).

4- You will be prompt to choose if
you need to remove all previous office products
or keep certain ones (Figure 10), for keeping
old products you should choose (Remove these
products only) and then choose which product
needs to be removed and which to
keep. NOTE: You can keep all previous
office products except for Outlook which it will
be forced to be upgraded.

Install
English or French Language
Pack
After installing office
XP, you can install either English Language or
French Language or even you can install
both.
1- Insert Language Pack
CD, you will be prompt to read the EULA (End
User License Agreement) and choose agree to
continue (Figure 11).

2- After reading the EULA,
you will be prompt to choose which language
(English or French) (Figure 12) that you wish to
install or both as required, just choose the
language(s) required.

3- Next, you will be asked
to choose a language for default language,
display menu and display help language that you
choose (Figure 13), select from each item list
the desired language.

4- After choosing the required
language display, you will be prompt to choose
the type of installation (Figure 14), depending
on your needs, choose the type of installation
required.

5- After installation finish, you
will be prompt for complete and successful
installation (Figure 15).

To
change the language at any time, just follow
these steps:
1- Click Start. 2- Choose
Programs 3- Select Microsoft Office
Tools 4- Click on Language setting -
Microsoft Office XP item (Figure 16).

5- Select the required
language for each item in the dialog (Figure
17).

The
recommended system configuration to use
Microsoft Office XP is Microsoft
Windows® XP Professional* on a personal
computer with a Pentium III processor and 128
megabytes (MB) of RAM. Below are the minimum
requirements your computer needs to run each
suite of Office XP. Some Office XP
features have
additional
requirements.
